About Us

Banner’s Auto Repairs is owned and operated by Dean Banner, a fully qualified mechanic who has worked in the motor trade industry throughout his adult life. Dean brings over 23 years of experience to the business.

 

His journey began in 1999, when he gained a City and Guilds National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Motor Vehicle and Repairs at Levels 1, 2 and 3. In 2003, Dean achieved a nominated tester (NT) qualification with VOSA (now referred to as DVSA) and then went on to receive an Auto Climate (F-Gas) accreditation with City and Guilds in 2015.

 

In 2020, his drive for continual professional development enabled him to undertake the DVSA Approved Level 3 Award in MOT Test Centre Management. Additionally, Dean is a registered professional of the Institute of the Motor Industry and boasts qualifications in:

Having only established Banner’s Auto Repairs in 2021, Dean already brings 23 years of knowledge, skills and experience to his relatively new business. His reputation for being a reliable, friendly and professional mechanic is known to many in the local area and he has fulfilled a long-held ambition by establishing Banner’s Auto Repairs.
